Dr. Theresa was inspired to become a chiropractor when she received her first adjustment at age 15. She was working full time at her parents’ restaurant in West Chester, PA one summer when she developed pain and stiffness in her neck. Her mom made her an appointment with her family chiropractor. Dr. Theresa remembers getting up from the table and feeling free of pain as well as an overwhelming sense of well-being. She thought, “This would be cool to do for someone else.” And here we are!
Dr. Theresa went to La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA where she earned a bachelor of science in didactic nutrition. She went on to get her doctor of chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in the San Francisco Bay in California. During chiropractic school, Dr. Theresa took elective courses in advanced extremity (i.e. arm & leg) adjusting as well as Chiropractic Biophysics which focuses on spinal curvature correction. She has also completed continuing education courses in chiropractic functional neurology through the Carrick institute as well as continuing education on migraine, whiplash, and MRI & X-ray diagnosis.
Dr. Theresa is a people-person, and she has found a vocation that combines many of her passions to be in service of others. Dr. Theresa is also certified in Reiki I & II and enjoys moments when she has an opportunity to be immersed in each patient interaction.
Outside of her office hours, Dr. Theresa loves walking with her dogs through the woods where she grew up, running, strength training, boxing, dancing, cooking (a lot), listening to music, singing (poorly), and spending time with the people that she loves.
